He served as a cadet in the company when he was younger. In his later years he moved to Harrington and begun working, so that he could explore different vocational opportunities. He is an alumni of Lake Forest High School where he graduated in 2015. Joshua later moved back to the district, first in Frederica and then onto Magnolia, where he now resides with James, his husband. Joshua's passions for community and helping others led him into non-profit work, which he has done for several years working with and advocating for individuals with disabilities. Joshua comes from a working class background. His mother served generations of students as a bus driver. His father, served in the Bowers Volunteer Fire Company. His father has worked as a sand plant operator in Dover before becoming a loader-operator. Other's in Joshua's family are still involved with the services which volunteer fire companies provide to our district, and he understands their needs serving in a district which continues to grow. Joshua is seeking to become the Representative of the 33rd District so that he may be a voice for the community and the hardworking families who live here. He aims to advocate for those in the community who are in need of more recognition and representation at the legislative level of Delaware. A vote for Joshua is a vote for yourself, your neighbor, and your community. Together, Joshua will work to bring the 33rd District to a brighter future.

Joshua's Main Priorities

Growing up in a family of volunteer firefighters, Joshua has firsthand knowledge of the value that our town's volunteer firefighters provide to our communities. Not only do they protect us and ensure our safety, but they also provide our communities with events, resources, and help to preserve the identities of the towns we all live in and love. If elected he will seek to ensure that the needs of our volunteer firefighters are brought to the attention of the Legislature.
